NOTE: There are two cities zipped together...they are intended to be played back to back as they are created to be complimentary.
===========================================
It is a time of great hardship for the people of Egypt. The Nile no longer sends its' floods to replenish the earth and the people of Egypt are starving.
As Pharaoh, my options are few. I have decided to specialize my cities. Farafra Oasis is a rich fertile farming area in the desert. Farafra and Dakla Oasis have some of the only tillable earth left in Egypt. Farafra Oasis has one purpose, that is to feed the empire. Nearby Dakla Oasis will protect Farafra and intercept most armies, but a few might still get through.
Since Dakhla Oasis does have a small amount of tillable earth, they must provide their own food resources.
The purpose of Farafra is to grow as much food as possible. I will send you many of the resources you will need to run your city. You must produce enough food to meet the demands of other Egyptian cities and meet my requests as well. You will be allowed to construct a pyramid for yourself, and must carve two obelisks as a testimony to our efforts.
The purpose at Dakla Oasis is to appease RA and bring his blessings back to the kingdom. It has long been known that the great RA himself resides in the hills of Dakhla. The task is to build his Temple Complex, a great Sun Temple, and a grand pyramid for his high priest to be buried. You will also be allowed to build a smaller pyramid for yourself to mark your greatness.
Be forewarned, our enemies are aware of the importance of Dakhla Oasis to the great RA, and will attempt to stop you. Be Prepared.
Dakhla does have one advantage....the only way in is through "the pass". But it has perils of its own.

There were two missions to download and play so there will be a review for each
The Pass of Dakhla:
60 Culture
75 Prosperity
92 Monument - Sun Temple, M Pyramid, Grand pyramid complex, Burial goods
12k population - 30 Spacious Manors
Playability: 5
No issues attaining win conditions
Balance: 4
Initial funds are very high, allowing establishing housing blocks, exports, and military at the beginning. The inability to trap hyenas make immigration slower. Export of copper and weapons makes funding never an issue. This is important, as importing burial goods becomes extremely expensive. There is plenty of map space, funding, and access to resources to establish 12k population and 30 Spacious Manors. Individual wars are not difficulty as you are able to build charioteers, but may be troublesome if you are slow to establish military; sometimes two wars occur simultaneously. Monument rating takes so long to achieve due to 100k linen/gems, and 50k wood burial goods required. Overall, a long and somewhat challenging experience makes for a balanced mission. A 5 could be earned by making map space smaller, wars slightly more difficult, and lower exports to challenge funding.
Creativity: 4
Requests/wars are varied and consistent. However, most resource requests are no issue due to being able to import basically anything and never having funding issues. Wars also only occur from one area of the map which I personally like but can get boring to others.
Map Design: 4
The left half of the map was barely used but was aesthetically appealing. Hunting and farming for food never proves an issue, especially since you can import any food type to supplement if needed. Overall, the ability to import any resource detracts from what the map offers, making it forgettable.
Story/Instructions: 4
Purpose for the mission and an acceptable story was provided, but could be explored more in the description.
Additional Comments:
I played this mission on Normal difficulty and would likely play both mission again. Very well done.
