One has one long walk serving the entire west bank of the nile, which shows issues that arise by making a long walk too long: 1) houses near the end of the loop do not get entertainment without extra schools along the loop. 2) houses run out of some services before the walkers finish and restart. An inelegant solution to the second issue was to put in two scribal schools and time the walkers. Delete one scribal school and you will see the houses devolve and rebuild.
The second has two long walks with one distribution center, which is a better solution. If you design a city like this make sure that each bazaar is connected to the distribution center using roads on its SE side.
I wanted to make a city with three loops including the islands, but unfortunately forced walkers disappear instead of using ferry crossings.
