Commodity Data Sheets

These sheets were compiled and created by Cherub Gustavia and Angel Jayhawk.

What are Commodity Data Sheets?

Well, if you are like me, you know how easy it is to get lost between what commodities can be imported from which city and what are the ones I can make or grow (or hunt for that matter) myself. I try to plan things ahead, but keep bumping in to questions as:

  • now who was selling clay for my potters?
  • can I get more barley besides what I’m growing?
  • will somebody accept my papyrus so I can make a bundle?

I was looking for an easy way to see where I could find raw materials and how they would restrict my finished products, without having to go back and forth between the trade screen, the navigation panel and the world map. So the data sheets were born.

They are grouped by period and show all availabe commodities, both local and trade sources. The export columns show where you can export your commodities to and import them from. When a commodity is available for import but not useful its text is greyed, similarly for an export product that is not manufactured locally or needs to be imported.

Each city is followed by a coloured symbol displaying whether it is trading by land () or river ().
