I. INTRODUCTION

Pharaoh Desire Control is a multi-featured program that allows you easily design all kind of city block layouts, plan your city layout before you actually start building and spend the money, generate the HTML code of the designed blocks ready to post on the Pharaoh Heaven's Forum. Probably you can find other uses to the program as well. See "Features" for the full list of features.

Pharaoh Desire Control is a very useful tool for all Pharaoh players, as for beginners as well as for advanced. To the beginners it helps to understand and learn some of the important concepts of the game and to build cities in a more efficient way. The advanced players can devise all sort of new housing blocks or revise and improve the existing ones. The new feature which allows you to place the terrain tiles on the map gives you an ability to design blocks which will fit in certain landscapes (Not all the maps in the game are so smooth as the "Sandbox" in the custom missions, some large symmetrical blocks are not suitable for every landscape).

Designing blocks is not a simple task. Pharaoh Desire Control provides you a large set of tools to make this much more simple. By using overlays you can see the exact desirability matrix around the placed structures and after consulting the housing levels table provided with the program you can see to what level the housing is able to evolve if you provide it with everything it needs. Besides you can spot the places where the risk of damage or fire is high and prevent the disaster later in the game. In other hand you can spot the places in which there's no risk of fire/damage at all, and save the money by not placing the firehouse/architect's post where's no need in them.
