Hello again ! I'm back to Pharaoh after a hiatus spent in playing other games !
And that was not an easy mission... As you already know, when you begin ruling Kebet, the city is a fortress that has been partially destroyed and is under the threat of Egyptian attacks... Yes it's still the civil war !
How did I manage to get through ? First, I erased almost everything inside the fortress. Only some people still lived inside, just to provide soldiers for the wall towers and the 2 companies of archers. I had even erased the company that had some men left, as I wanted to build the academy to strengthen the army. These archers were enough to fend off the 2 first attacks on the city, as they are very mobile...! In the meantime I organised the southeastern corner around 7 gold mines to get money, then I organised the northeastern part around 3 copper mines and weaponsmiths. After that, I rebuilt the fortress and I connected the 2 sides on the eastern bank of the Nile.
The shore was very important, because I had to build 2 warships, 3 transport ships, and a dock. I added some fishing wharfs to sell fish. This allowed the city to withstand the following attacks and to send the fleet away when needed. Then, I realised that I was 1,000 inhabitants away from what was required !
So I have built a last district around the fortress, and I have erected the obelisks there. The city can hold 2 years without any problem, as it is one of my "rules".
So now I am the Pharaoh and I can't wait to create a new capital, Itjtawy, worthy of the glory of the Middle Kingdom !
