Hello! Well South Dahshur was quite simple to finish as I had a very clear idea on how to manage this city from my previous experiences years ago!
The island in the middle of the map was to become my little Manhattan, sort of! There are long avenues and perpendicular streets. I wanted to put everything I could on it (except for the army) but I realised I could not build both the palace and the mansion, I could not build neither the academy nor the recruiter, the weaponsmiths and I had to move the entertainment buildings out of Manhattan-Dahshur. Then I developed the city eastwards and westwards.
Be reassured as you will be attacked by small Bedouin and Libyan armies and they seem to always come from the West.
So my transport ship was here for nothing... Whatever! :) After 2 decades Abu asks for military help, the attack is easy to fend off. The soldiers that you see leaving Dahshur are on their way to save the southern city.
I chose to put 2 docks on the shores to allow much trade. The pyramid was finished after many years of intense work...
But the 4 gods of the city helped a great deal!
For the first time, I put some internal roadblocks to separate some areas.
So I ended up with almost real islanders in my city!
Now, let's catch some fishes and defeat some Kushites at Iunet! :D
