O, mighty Vizier!
Our Pharaoh, let him and his successors lead our country through ages, grants you a great honor to inscribe your family into eternity, and your name being in the Hall of Reeds.
You are starting as a leader of a community where, at glance, everything should go pretty smooth. A lot of fertile pasturelands and resources to trade, honest business partners on the world map...
But it can not be such easy. Pharaoh does not appoint random people to do serious tasks.
You have made your own investigation and found that not all trade partners will be happy with your success. And, apparently, they have enough Deben to hire some mercenaries...
People say, there are problems with these places. Beware, things may be more complicated than it seems!
* * *
This map is a rebalanced and enhanced version of the previous Trade Empires, edited for the greater difficulty in terms of events and commerce. The population amount goal is decreased, but there is +1 god to worship and some evil warriors waiting to demolish your hood after a decade of years.
Enjoy and tnx for your comments! |

In this game, there are a couple of goals for the Vizier who is going to undertake the important mission of establishing a commercial center for the Pharaoh, should accomplish.
First of all, despite the huge landmass for city development, in fact, a great part of it is under mountains, water, and marsh. The population goal and monuments demand enough space, so there is a necessity in good planning.
Second, though a big number of trade partners and resources, there are some surprises ahead for the Deben not to devaluate. Sure, it's not that hardcore, but could be minimum demanding if you fell asleep counting previous income :-D
Finally, there is military activity and responsibilities for the Kingdom and Pharaoh. First I intended to create the game peaceful or with minimum aggression but decided it will be too simple.
There is a slight randomization of events, so the results could be different from time to time.
Who knows, maybe it is your lucky turn, Vizier?
Ah! Don't forget to study the kingdom prices!
Hints:
- Despite a big amount of trade opportunities, focus primarily on the most money-gaining spheres. The game set would not allow you to relax the first time unless you won't set up working commerce fastly.
- Here is a relatively intense military activity, and no Seth in the Pantheon. The landmass is divided into several fragments. This means, you need to seriously plan your defence, concentrating on walls and towers in the low-mid game and adding some soldiers in the mid-late, when attacks become trickier. *Technical information*: added minor fixes rebalancing the map. There was a problem with Mausoleum (94% and building stuck), so I replaced it with Caesareum. No possibility to turn on Burial Provisions, so I invented another tricky way to make the construction of monuments challenging ;-)[Edited on 08/08/19 @ 12:44 PM]

Thank you for your attention. Unfortunately, I was making the map at the other PC and not sure that the .map version is available. However, it will remain a big pleasure for me it you play it as a savegame. Just put it into your save files and when you load it ingame, press "restart mission".
Apparently, not the best solution but I will try to find better one.
Tnx for your time! |
