Egypt's future is not looking good. It's been 25 years since our northern forts at Mycenae and Enkomi were created and Egypt has entered turmoil.

Many regional leaders have become too powerful for Pharaoh Teti to keep control of them. Most are striking out on their own to acquire the goods they need. Harvests in many of these regions are well below normal and famine has begun to appear in Egypt once more. Men-nefer was a splendid and beautiful city and it is beginning to decline.

Our various neighbours have begun to take advantage of our weak defences. The outpost of Buhen is under siege from never-ceasing attacks by Kushite soldiers sent from Kerma, the largest non-Egyptian city to be found in Africa.

Teti has sent you to an abandoned oasis at Kharga. Here, you will find many trees to be used to help fund the oasis and to help Teti begin many projects across Egypt. Use your funds wisely for you will not be alone here. Use the resources carefully. A large city will be required to keep the Kush back.

"Thank god, no sea battles", was my first reaction when I started playing the map. However, the mission won't disappoint military enthusiasts. There are basically non stop invasions throughout the mission, which will keep you busy. I personally prefer on-shore warfare so I enjoyed it more than the previous ones.

There is a variety of exportable goods to keep the cash flowing, including wood (which apparently is a must-have on Sajuuk's maps - but no complaints here)

The population goal seemed rather high, but nothing a simple cluster of huts couldn't solve.

burt777 In Difficulty Hard, it's technically impossible to get the 6400 ignots of copper for the request (Biblos o. Not sure if you even need Buhen (which closes because of it). Also, i haven't gotten around to beating the 3rd wave of enemies (from the top-right). Perhaps Seth can help me here...

Anyone played this on hard?

Anyone here at all? ;->

Hey, I missed this comment. The early request to Buhen is not supposed to be fulfilled. It is part of the storyline that the city closes for trade (see included text file). Don't worry about meeting that request, it is intended to close down a trade city you don't need.
